What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dock Salary Manager at Dillard’s position at Dillards Rolling Oaks Mall?
A Dock management must recruit, coach and supervise all associates assigned to the area, including review job performance, address disciplinary concerns and motivate all associates to achieve established goals. A dock manager must follow company procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment for staff and visiting customers, maintaining records, and solving any freight issues that may arise. A dock manager directs all activities in the assigned area including staffing, inventory control and housekeeping and dressing room maintenance. A dock manager must participate in all store opening/closing procedures, assists with associate and/or customers concerns and any other duties assigned or apparent that are necessary for business operations.
Physical Demands:
-Attendance is required with the ability to work overtime as needed.
-Must be able to stand for lengthy and continuous periods totaling up to 8 hours per day.
-Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.
-Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to stock and retrieve merchandise.
-Other Physical activities may be necessary depending on the specific tasks to be accomplished.
-High attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Computer savvy.
-Ability to process and deliver the truck to the floor on the day it arrives.
- Time management skills.
