Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in accounting software.
Duties
- Maintain and manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) in all accounting practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
- Provide technical accounting support for various projects as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of debits and credits, general ledger accounting, and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Familiarity with Quickbooks or similar accounting software is preferred.
- Understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of technical accounting standards is a plus.
