- Grow and maintain customer base through positive interactions with customers, building and maintaining long term relationships through face-to-face contact, telephone, or email.
- Actively pursue new clientele to expand the customer base and promote Dillon Toyota Lift.
- Work closely with operations staff to ensure a seamless customer service approach.
- Strong focus on profits and revenues while at the same time ensuring superior quality and customer service for both internal and external customers.
- Conducts site surveys, develops sales specifications and quotes for equipment analysis.
- Educate customers on use and care of merchandise, always promoting complimentary products and services.
- Collaborate with sales coordinators to develop competitive quotes.
- Recommend, select and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
- Deliver equipment and supplies to customers when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Prefer a college degree in marketing, sales, or related discipline. Or any combination of education and experience that is necessary to perform essential duties.
- Prefer two to five years of experience as a salesperson in the industrial equipment or forklift industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills to influence and promote products and services.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrate reliable attendance, integrity, and strong work ethic.
