Bartenders (Food and Beverage)

DTR Plaza Midwood is hiring Bartenders

Our team members are above all passionate about the people they are taking care of, the product we serve, and the team of hospitality professionals of which they are a part.

Bartenders guide our restaurant guests through their dining experience by providing expert recommendations related to both food and beverage and must be welcoming, caring and knowledgeable.

While driving sales, Servers are charged with thoroughly understanding their guests, anticipating their needs and ensuring an excellent guest experience. Bartenders must demonstrate high-level knowledge of all components to all dishes on the menu, as well as all wines by the glass, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and beers.

Ideal candidates possess:

Passion for creating memorable moments of hospitality for our guests

-Hospitality and guest focused mentality
-4 years full-service restaurant experience in a front of house position
-Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with peers and guests

-The ability to stay positive and calm under pressure
-A strong work ethic and a hunger to learn and grow
-Warmth and graciousness; the ability to function highly in a busy environment.
-Full responsibility for food and beverage knowledge
-An Entrepreneurial Spirit

Required Skills:

Experience with Aloha or other POS Sytems
Service Standards
Wine Service Knowledge
Food & Wine Pairings
Spirits/Cocktails Knowledge
Wine Sales Proficiency
