Dime Community Bank is hiring an IT (Technology) Support Intern for its 2025 Summer Internship Program (see Responsibilities and Qualifications below). The hourly wage minimum = $16; maximum = $18. The exact pay may vary based on skills, experience, training, licenses/certifications, language necessities, and location.
Dimes does not offer visa sponsorship. This is an onsite role.
Responsibilities for the IT (Technology) Support Summer Intern include:
- Ability to relate to and communicate with system users.
- Answering technical support calls.
- Fielding ticketing support requests.
- Deploying pre-configured software packages.
- Troubleshooting and resolving novel issues along with a supervisor.
- Traveling to work sites, for the deployment of hardware and peripherals.
- Supporting and servicing computer hardware and peripherals.
Qualifications:
- Rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an accredited University/College pursuing degree(s) in Data, IT, or Technology.
- Motivated. Curious. Eager to learn. Inquisitive. Proactive contributor.
- Customer service-oriented and team player.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Open minded and willing to make changes to improve skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, in Manhattan, NY.
