Role Description
We are seeking a Project Architect/Job Captain located in Madison, WI, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Project Architect/Job Captain will play a pivotal role in multi-family housing projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on the development of design work, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate drawings and specifications with other disciplines.
- Establish design parameters, evaluate building systems, and assist in presenting to clients.
- Oversee project team activities and ensure quality of construction documents.
- Conduct quality reviews and focus on architectural details.
- Engage in construction administration duties.
- Assist in maintaining and improving office standards, details and production tools.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in multi-family housing architecture and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Minimum five years of experience in all phases of architectural design and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture (Master’s preferred) or a 4-year Bachelor of Architectural Studies.
- Proficiency in Revit and SketchUp; basic knowledge of BIM360, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Highly collaborative, self-directed, detail-oriented, and motivated.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
