What are the responsibilities and job description for the Call Center Representative position at Dimitri Dermatology?
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone promptly and in a polite and professional manner.
- Schedule appointment correctly - review appointment date, time, location, and provider name with patient
- Nurse Calls – eScribe, calling in refills, pulling patient information (via file chart or eClinical Works)
- Inform caller of items to bring to appointment (including insurance card, medications, office co-pays, etc)
- Remind new patients to arrive 15 to 30 minutes before scheduled appointment to complete necessary paperwork
- Work closely with call center supervisor on appointment scheduling and services offered to ensure smooth patient flow and cut down waiting time.
- Explain the services available, payment categories, and billing procedures.
- Respond to patients’ inquiries, request, disputes over the phone, and route to appropriate department of staff.
- Place outbound follow up calls to patients regarding confirmations, no shows, and cancelations.
- Responsible for maintaining all provider schedules.
- Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations manner
- Perform all other tasks related to Call Center Department areas of responsibilities.
- Any exercise deemed necessary by management in the operation of the clinic
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
