Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Clerk performs a variety of general accounting support tasks for the company, including daily Accounts Receivable functions and running Accounts Receivable Statements at the end of month process. He or she verifies, allocates, and posts transactions into proper journals and ensures transaction back-up documents are properly maintained. The Accounts Receivable Clerk has strong skills in problem solving, documentation, research, and data analysis.
Essential Duties And Tasks
1-3 years general accounting experience
1-3 years in an Automotive or related business environment
Basic working knowledge of accounting
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
Prior working knowledge of CDK preferred
Excellent work history

Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Clerk performs a variety of general accounting support tasks for the company, including daily Accounts Receivable functions and running Accounts Receivable Statements at the end of month process. He or she verifies, allocates, and posts transactions into proper journals and ensures transaction back-up documents are properly maintained. The Accounts Receivable Clerk has strong skills in problem solving, documentation, research, and data analysis.
Essential Duties And Tasks
- To model by example the Company’s mission statement by being an empowered, passionate and positive associate who provides exceptional personalized service to the Company’s guests and community. To live by the Standards of Excellence set forth by Dimmitt Automotive Group.
- Assist with Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable.
- Reconciling daily cash sales and cash clearing accounts for all stores.
- Communicate any past due invoices on statements to the corresponding manager.
- Handle chargebacks in a timely manner and request any documents if needed to file a dispute.
- Receipts checks and deposit them to their corresponding store.
- Must be very detail oriented and quick to learn, paying close attention to every step of the balancing process, which may also require being a little creative on how to get your information if needing to research a transaction in order to balance.
- Create and maintain a safe work environment by abiding to and enforcing all safety regulations and practices found in the Company’s Safety Program.
