Job Description
- Warranty Cancellation Processing:
- Review and process warranty cancellation requests promptly and accurately.
- Verify customer information and documentation to ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations.
- Calculate refund amounts and ensure proper disbursement to customers or financial institutions.
- Customer Interaction:
- Handle inbound and outbound communications regarding warranty cancellations.
- Provide clear explanations of cancellation policies, procedures, and refund timelines.
- Address customer concerns or disputes with empathy and professionalism.
- Recordkeeping and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all transactions and communications.
- Generate and submit reports related to cancellations and refunds as required.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the finance, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless processes.
- Liaise with external partners, such as dealerships and financial institutions, as needed.
- Compliance and Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with warranty policies, legal requirements, and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to team efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in automotive warranty processing, customer service, or related roles preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer interactions effectively.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (CDK highly preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
