Job Overview:
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM
Dimondale Adolescent is seeking a Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office. The ideal candidate will have a friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and an eagerness to assist visitors and staff. Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors in a pleasant and professional manner and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
- Check voicemails in the morning and distribute messages to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and transcribing
- Order, receive, and maintain office supplies, kitchen supplies, snacks, and beverages
- Ensure front desk area, conference rooms, and breakroom are clean and organized
- Coordinate meeting and conference calls as needed.
- Receive mail and distribute appropriately. Have mail ready to go out each day.
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Demonstrate computer literacy for data entry and basic office software tasks
- Review the general status of the office space and report to supervisor any repairs that need to be made or organization that needs to occur.
- Provide administrative support to all levels of staff.
- Support New Hire Onboarding – including but not limited to laptop setup, preparing/ collecting new hire documents on orientation day, etc.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree or 60 college units from an accredited college or university
- Must have 2 years of recent Receptionist experience
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be physically and mentally fit to perform all duties.
- Must have a criminal record clearance and child abuse index clearance, required.
- Valid California driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the Agency’s insurance carrier, required.
- Ability to interact and communicate both verbally and in writing to visitors, clients, staff and the general public.
- Ability to demonstrate computer literacy for data entry and basic office software tasks
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Maintain a professional presentation.
- Must have effective communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
