About this role:
The Accounts Assistant will report to the Financial Reporting Manager.
In this role you will work with a team of finance professionals providing valuable financial reporting, meeting month-end deadlines and providing finance support to other departments within the company. This is a high-volume role which will require enthusiasm and dedication from the get-go and a fantastic opportunity to gain some amazing experience in a dynamic, and international company!
What we need you to do:
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Review and post overhead invoices, expenses and credit cards
- Monthly cost reviews
- Prepare overhead accruals
- General ledger posting
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Manage tangible and intangible assets registers
- Prepare and file VAT returns
- Prepare monthly regional PL’s reports
- Assist with company secretarial requirements
- Assist with audit preparation (consolidated and single entities)
- Ad-hoc reports/analysis as required
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Amazing attention to detail and good judgment skills
- Ability to work under pressure and produce a high volume of work under tight deadlines
- Preferably 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Part-qualified ACCA or similar would be an advantage
- Experience in Great Plains would be an advantage
