A rental yard coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the operations of a rental yard, ensuring that equipment and tools are available and well-maintained for customers. Here are some common tasks associated with this position:
Inventory Management:
- Oversee the rental inventory, including tracking the availability and condition of equipment.
- Check in and out rental equipment, ensuring accurate records.
- Inspect returned equipment for any damage and report as necessary.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Organize and maintain a clean, well-arranged yard.
Customer Service:
- Assist customers in loading and unloading equipment.
- Provide training and guidance on the operation of equipment.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Schedule regular maintenance and repairs for rental equipment.
- Ensure that all equipment is cleaned, serviced, and ready for rental.
- Detailed cleaning of all equipment this includes working outside pressure washing and detailing equipment we pride ourselves in excellent equipment condition. This is most important part of the rental yard coordinator position.
Safety Compliance:
- Ensure that all equipment meets safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct safety briefings for customers on the proper usage of equipment.
Management:
- Report directly to the sales management team, service manager, and rental coordinator, who will be your primary points of contact. By carrying out these tasks, a rental yard coordinator ensures smooth operations and a positive experience for customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
