Dinsmore is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant at our Cincinnati, OH location who will support multiple attorneys and/or paralegals in the area of commercial litigation.
Responsibilities
File and client management, formatting, proofreading and editing of documents, online filings, time entry, expense reimbursements, travel arrangements and other administrative support. We seek candidates that are self-directed, high energy, and have advanced computer skills
Requirements
Solid work history including 3-5 recent years providing administrative support
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff including attorneys, paralegals and other assistants throughout the Firm
Intermediate to advanced-level use of Microsoft Office Suite, .pdf editing software, and related legal software
Experience with E-filing (federal and state) a plus
Experience using timekeeping software and document management systems
Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail
Possess strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen ability to multi-task
Proven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
Ability to type 65 WPM
Exposure to Litigation preferred
Exposure to the following practice areas, or a desire and ability to learn these areas, is necessary: Environmental, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Litigation, and TORT
