Description/Job Summary
The individual will possess a demonstrated commitment to working with homeless persons and
providing social services networking to prevent them from becoming homeless again.
This position entails working a scheduled 13 hour shift (7:00 pm to 8:00 am) at an adult only
shelter for homeless men and women.

Responsibilities/Duties
- The Shelter Worker is responsible to operate the night to night operation of the homeless shelter and assist in the progress and tracking of all case management clients at the Shelter.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- Minimum experience/training must be a high school diploma with preferred experience
- Some weekends and holidays are required.
- The candidate must possess the ability to work independently.
- Good writing and computer skills are necessary.
- Applicant must be at least 21 years of age, pass all criminal and child abuse clearance
- Applicant will also be subject to fingerprinting and have a clear criminal record.
- All CSS employees are required to complete an initial VIRTUS training.
