- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate PE lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
- Integrate Catholic teachings, values, and prayer into daily instruction and classroom culture.
- Foster a safe, supportive atmosphere where students of all abilities feel seen, respected, and inspired to try their best.
- Encourage moral character and leadership by promoting fairness, kindness, and responsibility on and off the playing field.
- Celebrate the individual strengths of each student and support them in reaching their fullest potential.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and administration to support the mission and community of the school.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field; teaching credential preferred.
- Passion for working with children and helping them discover the joy in movement and wellness.
- Must undergo a Level 2 background screening and complete Safe Environment Training as required by the Diocese of St. Petersburg.
