Guardian Angels Catholic School is seeking a passionate Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director for the 2025-2026 school year The ideal candidate will foster a love for movement and healthy living, while embracing and modeling Christian values in a nurturing, respectful, and inclusive environment. This teacher will recognize the unique gifts of each child and inspire students to grow in confidence, cooperation, and character.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate PE lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth.

Integrate Catholic teachings, values, and prayer into daily instruction and classroom culture.

Foster a safe, supportive atmosphere where students of all abilities feel seen, respected, and inspired to try their best.

Encourage moral character and leadership by promoting fairness, kindness, and responsibility on and off the playing field.

Celebrate the individual strengths of each student and support them in reaching their fullest potential.

Collaborate with staff, parents, and administration to support the mission and community of the school.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Physical Education or a related field; teaching credential preferred.

Passion for working with children and helping them discover the joy in movement and wellness.

Must undergo a Level 2 background screening and complete Safe Environment Training as required by the Diocese of St. Petersburg.
