We are looking for a Receptionist for our front desk, this person will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Our front desk serves our patients and families by greeting and helping them; scheduling appointments; maintaining records and accounts. This includes scheduling new appointments, checking patients in/out, data entry, as well as collecting copay's and balances, As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet clients. To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus. Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Enter new patient’s information into system or make necessary changes to established patients
- Schedule follow up/ new patient appointments for all providers
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning and faxing
- Monitor front lobby for cleanliness
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role in a medical office, or 3 - 6 months related experience or training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
- We are a small office so flexibility is a must!

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
