Job Description
Kansas City based law firm seeking experienced Legal Assistant/Administrative Professional for firm’s front desk. Duties will include:
word-processing & data-entry
File management (electronic and hard copy)
directing calls & preparing detailed messages
manage mail, faxes, incoming general voicemails and emails
expense tracking
greeting clients
accepting deliveries
providing administrative support to firm executives and senior staff members
perform office opening procedures, such as daily maintenance of printer stock
maintain break room
other tasks as needed
Interested applicants should have the following experience:
Minimum of two (2) years in an office setting
Experience in customer service
Typing skills (min 60 wpm)
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computers
Ideal candidate will have effective problem solving skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Experience in a legal setting is a plus.
Salary: $16.00-$21.00/hour (based upon experience)
Office Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm
