Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mixologist to join our Lounge team on the beautiful St. Lawerence River! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bartending and a flair for creating innovative cocktails. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your expertise in the food and beverage industry will play a crucial role in enhancing our patrons' experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks.
- Create unique drink recipes and experiment with new ingredients to enhance the beverage menu.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Interact with customers to provide recommendations based on their preferences and ensure satisfaction.
- Operate cash registers accurately, processing transactions efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations while handling beverages and food items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquet events to provide seamless service.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or as a Mixologist in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and retail math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
