About the Role
The IT Intern will support the Diptyque Americas corporate office and retail stores in management of technology needs.
Responsibilities
- Support IT team in the roll out of the new POS system (documentation, tests, etc…)
- Support IT team in the roll out of the new Warehouse Management system (definition, documentation, tests, etc…)
- Monitor issues through the ticketing system and improve its monitoring
- Support the operation, upkeep, and maintenance of the existing IT equipment
- Support in management of on-site assets
- Support, when necessary, creation of accounts and basic technical support needs from the local population
- Ensure employee asset list are up to date
- Support in creation of procedures for the use of IT resources
Requirements and Qualifications
- A basic understanding of IT systems, networking and computer software
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Logical problem solver who can operate under constraints
- Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Experience supporting end user IT needs and technical support
- Ability to support a PC environment
