RN MDS Coordinator / RN House Supervisor- Jacksonville, FL
Job Type- Full-time
Shift: 8hr. /Days
Pay Range- $83K - $90K Per Year
Responsibilities:
- Care plan resident needs as assessed by the care team.
- Coordinate and oversee all areas of the MDS assessment process to ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements.
- Participates in the management of resident care
- Demonstrates appropriate and safe work practices and behaviors.
- Explaining and interpreting resident care for assigned shift issues to families, residents, and staff.
- Identify changes in resident's status and intervene based on nursing knowledge and judgment as well as MD orders.
Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in MDS Coding.
- RNAC Certification preferred.
- Strong clinical, leadership, and management skills; good interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships; high level of initiative and creative problem-solving ability.
- Two years of recent clinical experience in a health care setting, geriatric setting preferred, one year of supervisory or management experience.
- An active RN License within the state of Florida.
