Job Summary
McLaren Northern Michigan is seeking an experienced Obstetrics Manager to lead and oversee obstetric services, ensuring high-quality patient care for newborns, pediatrics, and adults. The ideal candidate will have strong OB leadership experience and a background in managing maternal and newborn care units.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide leadership and oversight for obstetric services, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for OB team members.
Ensure high-quality maternal, newborn, and pediatric patient care.
Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and hospital administration to optimize care delivery.
Maintain compliance with state and hospital accreditation standards.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience: Previous OB leadership experience required.
Licensure: Michigan State RN License (Required)
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) (Required)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) (Required)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) (Preferred)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $3,300.00 - $3,500.00 per week
