Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for patients with mental health disorders and support their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ER experience to assess and monitor patients with psychiatric conditions
• Provide care for patients of all ages, including toddler care when needed
• Apply physiology knowledge to understand and address patients' medical needs
• Assist in sterile processing procedures as required
• Perform catheterization when necessary
• Engage in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients
• Adhere to medical standards and protocols in patient care
• Assist in suturing wounds when needed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide primary care services
• Utilize medical-surgical skills to address a wide range of patient needs

Experience

• Previous experience in psychiatric nursing or a related field is preferred
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment options
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current nursing license and certification

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract

Pay: $2,436.00 - $2,488.00 per week
