POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Business Process Analyst conducts evaluations of existing business processes to identify and execute improvement initiatives. This role involves mapping and analyzing current processes and systems to determine their effectiveness and efficiency, collecting relevant data, performing root cause analysis, and proposing solutions that align with both current and future business needs. This position also works closely with system integration teams, explores additional technologies for implementation to improve efficiency and collaborates with Management to implement process and system changes.
SALARY: $70,000 - $80,000/year, depending upon experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process Analysis: Map, analyze and test current business processes and systems to assess their effectiveness and efficiency, identifying opportunities for improvement that lead to enhanced performance and reduced costs.
- Systems Integration: Assist with new internal software integrations. Explore and propose new system solutions such as new technology or software to help the company excel and improve efficiency.
- Data Collection: Gather and analyze data to identify issues or problems, performing root cause analysis to understand underlying factors.
- Solution Proposal: Develop and propose actionable solutions tailored to the organization's needs.
- Implementation Oversight: Oversee the implementation and testing of process changes, reviewing modifications to ensure they lead to measurable improvements within the organization.
- Training Development: Assist in creating and delivering training programs or presentations to communicate process revisions and ensure understanding across the organization.
- Leadership and Mentoring: Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members, potentially acting as a lead or first-level supervisor.
LOCATION: In person, Chubbuck (ID) or Rockland (ID) depending upon the successful candidate.
SCHEDULING: 40 hours/week with the ability to flex to 35 hours with prior approval.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Data Science, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Six Sigma or International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Auditor certification, preferred.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in business analysis or process improvement roles, preferably in the telecommunications or broadband industry.
- Demonstrates the ability to work under minimal supervision, handling complex issues independently while referring the most intricate problems to higher-level staff.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of business processes and analysis techniques.
- May require travel to other company locations within and outside of Idaho.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Technical expertise relevant to business processes and systems.
- Effective planning and organizational skills.
