Direct Components Inc. is seeking a Rockstar Human Resource Generalist to join their amazing HR Team! The successful candidate will be responsible for providing broad-range support in all functional areas of the human resources department including recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee relations, job evaluation, benefits administration, employment law, organizational development, and training.
The successful applicant works under the general supervision of the HR Manager. Primary functions typically require exercising independent judgment. Does not have direct reports.
This is a full–time position, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday – Thursday and Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm at our Tampa-based location.
Responsibilities:
· Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and certifications.
· Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
· Create and manage the company’s LinkedIn presence, including posting job openings, sharing relevant content, and engaging with prospects to enhance the employer brand.
· Conducts or acquires background checks and employment eligibility verifications as I-9 or other as applicable.
· Owns the entire onboarding process from preparing new hires' material, conducting new hire orientation, and scheduling compliance training if needed while delivering an exceptional experience.
· Develops, implements, and promotes employee recognition programs aligned with the core values.
· Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute Human Resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; ADA, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety.
· Develop and execute strategic training according to the employees’ and business needs.
· Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
Preferred:
· Minimum bachelor’s degree in human resources or a similar field.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
