Position Summary: The Attorney Specialist will support registered fund attorneys with mutual fund and ETF fund filings, new fund launches, reviewing and updating mutual fund registration statements and shareholder reports, reviewing and preparing mutual fund board materials, and conducting research related to matters arising under the 1940 Act. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of direct experience in asset management and investment funds law.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with mutual fund and ETF fund filings.

Support new fund launches and review mutual fund registration statements and shareholder reports.

Prepare and review mutual fund board materials.

Conduct legal research on matters related to the 1940 Act.

Collaborate with partners and associates on significant client relationships.
Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Minimum of 5-10 years of direct experience in asset management and investment funds law.

Compensation:

Base Compensation: $225,000 - $325,000 / year.

The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
