Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Counsel to join a well-regarded law firm in Denver.
About the Role:
The firm is looking for an experienced litigation counsel with a minimum of eight years of litigation experience. This role will focus on a variety of complex litigation matters, with a particular emphasis on de novo trials and construction claims litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong courtroom experience, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and trials.
- Take ownership of cases and independently manage litigation strategy and client communications.
- Conduct legal research and draft compelling legal documents, including motions and briefs.
- Represent clients in hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and responsiveness to client needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience, with an emphasis on trial and construction claims litigation.
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Substantial hearing and trial experience.
- Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
- Admission to the Colorado Bar is required.
Work Environment & Compensation:
- Hybrid work schedule.

- Competitive salary range of $175,000 to $225,000 annually, with actual compensation based on experience and qualifications.
- Annual billable hours expectation: 1,800 hours.
