Direct Counsel is seeking an Employment Associate to join a highly regarded law firm in California.

Key Responsibilities:
- Defend employers in complex class, collective, and representative actions, as well as single-plaintiff wage-and-hour, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation lawsuits.
- Advise employers on a wide range of employment law issues.
- Conduct workplace investigations and training programs.
- Research and draft legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in employment litigation and/or counseling.
- Candidates with strong litigation experience and an interest in employment law are encouraged to apply.
- Admission to the California Bar is required.
- Excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Location & Compensation:
- This position is available in Los Angeles, Orange County, Sacramento, or San Francisco.
- Salary range: $175,000 - $210,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Associates are eligible for various annual bonuses, including a 15% bonus of base compensation for meeting 1,850 annual billable hours (up to 100 hours of approved pro bono work included).
