Direct Counsel is seeking a Litigation Associate to join a well-regarded law firm’s Finance & Restructuring practice group. This position is available in multiple office locations.
About the Role:
The firm’s Finance & Restructuring team provides integrated and strategic legal counsel on a wide range of financial matters, including complex financial transactions, corporate debt restructurings, and related litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation associate with 3-5 years of experience to join a dynamic practice within a respected firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in litigation matters related to finance and restructuring.
- Draft and argue motions, conduct discovery, and manage litigation strategy.
- Research and analyze legal issues related to corporate debt restructurings and financial disputes.
- Work closely with partners, clients, and other team members on complex litigation matters.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably within an Am Law 100 firm.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent legal writing and research skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Work Environment & Compensation:
- Hybrid work schedule available.
- Competitive salary range: $180,000 - $300,000, with actual compensation based on experience, location, and qualifications.
