Direct Counsel is seeking an associate attorney for an AmLaw 200 Firm with 4-5 years of experience for the Immigration Business Unit in Austin, TX is the preferred location, but other office locations will be considered for qualified candidates.
Ideal candidates will have employment-based immigration experience including H-1Bs, PERMs, I-140s, AOS, L-1s, and TNs, along with a willingness to work on all types of immigration matters. Qualified candidates should also have experience advising clients directly on a multitude of immigration matters and should be able to assist clients with the preparation of petitions and application for submission to the USCIS. Candidates should possess strong advocacy, research, and writing skills; a high-level attention to detail; and strong academic credentials. Successful candidates should be able to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $105,000 - $115,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, employees have the ability to participate in health insurance with optional HSA / FSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401K, vacation, sick time, parking / public transportation allowance, and an employee assistance program.
