We are currently seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join the Real Estate practice of a well-respected law firm known for its commitment to excellence and innovation in the legal field. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Coordination: Manage new client matters by collecting and organizing necessary information to create and maintain client files.
- Billing Support: Assist attorneys with client billing, including time entry, invoice preparation, drafting cover letters, and communication with clients in coordination with the Accounting department.
- Expense Management: Process vendor invoices and handle attorney expense reimbursements accurately and promptly.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate electronic and physical records in compliance with firm protocols.
- Document Drafting: Draft and edit legal documents with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and adherence to the firm’s standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within a Real Estate or Business practice group, preferably in a supporting administrative capacity.
- An undergraduate degree is preferred.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, typing, and editing skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Professionalism and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external clients while maintaining confidentiality.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 per year. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
