Legal Secretary/Paralegal - Full Time
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Legal Secretary/Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the law, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda
- Organizing and maintaining client files
- Providing administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing correspondence
- Calendaring court hearings and depositions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in legal studies or a related field, preferred.
- 2-10 years of experience as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal
- Strong understanding of the law, including the rules of civil procedure and evidence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of legal research and citation style
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
