Mid-Level to Senior Fund Finance Associate / Special Counsel – $260,000 to $435,000

Direct Counsel is seeking a Mid-Level to Senior Fund Finance Associate or Special Counsel to join a top-tier law firm with a highly regarded finance practice. This role focuses on fund finance transactions , offering the opportunity to work on complex deals while receiving Big Law scale compensation .

Compensation :

Salary range : $260,000 – $435,000 , based on experience and class year
Competitive bonuses and benefits package

Responsibilities :

Advise on fund finance transactions, including subscription credit facilities, NAV-based lending, and hybrid financings

Draft and negotiate loan agreements, security agreements, and other financing documentation

Represent lenders and fund borrowers in structuring complex financing arrangements

Collaborate with a well-established finance team on high-profile matters

Qualifications :

Class of 2022 or earlier with experience in fund finance, banking & finance, or structured finance

Strong background in credit facilities, secured lending, and fund-related transactions

Excellent drafting and negotiation skills

Admission to the New York Bar
