Job Description

Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Attorney for a prestigious law firm in New York or Washington, DC. The firm is looking for mid-level to senior associates or special counsels (class of 2019 and above) with experience in commercial real estate transactions.

Responsibilities :

  • Represent lenders and borrowers in complex commercial real estate transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate loan agreements, leases, and other transaction documents.
  • Provide strategic counsel on real estate finance, acquisitions, and development projects.

Requirements :

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York or DC Bar (or eligibility to waive in).
  • 5 years of commercial real estate experience, with a focus on lending.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.

    Pay : $365,000.00 - $435,000.00 per year
