Key Responsibilities

• Drafting diverse contracts, including AIA agreements and other relevant documents (e.g., cell tower licenses, management agreements)
• Providing legal counsel on governing documents and compliance with local regulations
• Managing commercial financing transactions, including mortgage refinances
• Addressing employment law issues such as contracts, collective bargaining agreements, and severance packages
• Drafting correspondence for residents
• Overseeing discrimination cases
• Representing clients in community and board meetings
• Maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication
• Assisting with Co-op apartment transfers and associated transactions
  
  

Required Skills

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities
• Proficient in drafting a variety of legal contracts
• Competent in managing commercial financing transactions
• Familiarity with employment law matters

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice in New York State
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate transactional law
