Key Responsibilities
- Drafting diverse contracts, including AIA agreements and other relevant documents (e.g., cell tower licenses, management agreements)
- Providing legal counsel on governing documents and compliance with local regulations
- Managing commercial financing transactions, including mortgage refinances
- Addressing employment law issues such as contracts, collective bargaining agreements, and severance packages
- Drafting correspondence for residents
- Overseeing discrimination cases
- Representing clients in community and board meetings
- Maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication
- Assisting with Co-op apartment transfers and associated transactions
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities
- Proficient in drafting a variety of legal contracts
