Direct Counsel is seeking a Records/Medical Care Coordinator to join a well-respected law firm.
This firm is looking for a detail-oriented and organized professional to manage medical records and coordinate care-related documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience handling medical records, communicating with providers, and ensuring accuracy in case-related documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Request, track, and manage medical records and bills
- Review and summarize medical records for case files
- Communicate with medical providers to obtain necessary documentation
- Ensure all records are organized and filed appropriately
- Assist attorneys and staff with medical-related case needs
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a legal or medical records role preferred
- Experience with personal injury is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
Compensation & Benefits:
- $30/hour pay rate
- Two weeks of paid vacation and five sick days
