Direct Counsel is seeking an experienced Traditional Labor Attorney (7 years) to join a dynamic and expanding Labor, Employment & Immigration group at a leading national law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a lead role in collective bargaining negotiations, representation matters, and labor-related litigation.
What You’ll Do:
- Represent employers at the bargaining table and advise on labor law compliance
- Handle grievance arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, and representation matters
- Manage labor-related compliance issues and union contract administration
- Work closely with clients to develop labor strategies and provide proactive legal counsel
What You Bring:
- 7 years of traditional labor law experience (collective bargaining, agency hearings, grievance arbitration)
- First-chair experience in multiple collective bargaining negotiations
- Lead attorney experience on representation petitions
- A partial portable book of business ($250,000 - $500,000) is preferred
- Healthcare and/or public entity experience is a plus
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and licensed to practice in Washington or Oregon

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $200,000 - $325,000 (based on experience and location)
