POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Manager is responsible for information technology activities including systems analysis, telecom, and security systems. Responsible for developing and maintaining third party relationships. Evaluates the capabilities and limitations of hardware and software and develops recommendations for the implementation of new technology as appropriate. Provides technical assistance and direction to IT staff, end users, and customers as needed. Participates in ongoing IT and business operational activities that serve to establish appropriate protection, confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Company Systems and data through effective security controls.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Information Technology and Security
1. Facilitates annual security assurance test activities.
2. In partnership with the IT team, responsible for keeping network infrastructure and PC equipment in a state of high availability for the company, to include all devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, servers, individual computers, printers, copiers, A/V equipment, and facility network cabling and wide-area connectivity devices such as voice and data lines and their associated equipment.
3. Responsible for maintenance, licensing, and upkeep of software to include PC and server operating systems.
4. Responsible for keeping voice communication for company in a state of high availability, to include all telephony server hardware and software, all devices such as telephone handsets and fax devices, phone numbers, Finesse and Jabber, and maintenance agreements.
5. Responsible for security and privacy of all company data assets and environment using firewall security, antivirus, disaster recovery, and other tools (in collaboration with IT team). Maintain backups of all essential devices such as server equipment and production machinery for high availability and disaster recovery purposes.
6. Provides timely and effective operational support for information security tools, processes, and practices. Partners with other teams and vendors to resolve problems and implement new technical assets and identify/detect behavior outside of established standards.
7. Maintains and develops knowledge of regulatory security trends, new security technologies and best practices.
8. Part of on-call rotation for afterhours support.
Management
1. Lead operational planning, including conducting routine evaluations of network and data security, planning internal projects, and organizing the allocation of resources.
2. Lead resource in planning, executing, and monitoring Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Plan (DR/BCP) program including annual testing requirements.
3. Analyze needs of our IT organization and establish detail level objectives, goals, and priorities for implementing solutions to support the initiatives or provide ongoing solution support.
4. Ensure projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
5. Responsible for the specification and purchasing of IT department related hardware and software, including licensing and maintenance agreements with vendors.
6. Develops and implements IT policy and best practice guides.
7. Provide the appropriate people management, development and leadership that will result in growth, accountability, efficiency and strengthened customer relations.
8. Partner with Human Resources on recruitment; conduct interviews, make hiring decisions, and establish training for new staff.
9. Conduct formal and informal performance evaluations and implements corrective action in partnership with human resources.
10. Build and maintain a positive working relationship with staff and co-workers.
11. Regular and predictable attendance in the office is an essential function of the job.
PCI Compliance
1. Monitors compliance with information security policies and leads the assessment of compliance with PCI and other security regulations.
2. Partner with Operations and HR on internal and external audits and compliance for VISA and Payment Card Industry Standards.
3. In collaboration with HR, respond to requests for information and, due diligence questionnaires from merchants and processors.
4. Works closely with IT System & Network Admins to ensure that all elements follow PCI requirements and are functioning as designed.
5. Executes tabletop exercises to test incident response plans.
6. Support Key injection Admins with HSM Hardware updates.
7. Manage vendor Audit relationships for PCI PIN, P2PE, Internal and External Penetration testing, and ASV Scans.
8. Manage and maintain new requirements for PCI DSS, PCI PIN, P2PE
9. Attend annual Training for PCI PIN according to requirements.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. Experience may be substituted for part of educational qualifications as appropriate.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
· Five to seven years of progressive experience in IT with in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking Lifecycle.
· Innovative thinking with a unique ability to get to the root cause of the problem and execute a workable solution who is looking for value-added results by leveraging technology.
· Good understanding of IT requirements for an end to end solution, including security, business continuity, disaster recovery, and risk analysis.
· Excellent time, project management and related organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
· Superior ability to multi-task, prioritize multiple projects, adjust to changing workflow and workload accordingly.
· Must be highly motivated and versatile, with the ability to work independently, take initiative, exercise discretion, demonstrate sound judgment, participate as an effective team member, and follow projects through to completion.
· Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information (both in written and oral form) clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience.
· Ability to be accountable for quality customer service and respond appropriately to a variety of personalities and situations.
· Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
· Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.
