Availability to work in office (this is not a remote opportunity).
Office hours of 8am - 5pm MST

Awesome optional flex schedule after 90 days as follows: 7-5pm or 8-6pm (9 hour workday) with every other Friday or Monday off.

Salary $40,000-$45,000 based on experience.

Commission bonuses for successfully funded Directed IRA accounts.

Employment subject to passing background check.

Who We Are Looking to Hire:

A Client Onboarding Specialist that demonstrates superior expertise and first-class service to our clients. As a Client Onboarding Specialist, you will be an essential member of our Client Services & New Accounts team.

Directly reports to the Manager of Client Services.

THE ROLE:

  • Assisting with onboarding of new clients
  • Assisting with client portal access and navigation
  • Knowledgeable on various methods to fund retirement accounts
  • Following up with clients to ensure client proceeds/completes funding
  • Ensure all required documentation is received in order to begin the rollover/transfer process
  • Communicate with Clients in regards to the funding status of their Self Directed Account
  • Update client when funds are received. This is performed via email
  • New Account data entry and Process all New Account openings through various software systems
  • Answer questions and resolve item processing issues with internal team members via phone and email
  • When necessary follow up with applicants and/or external clients regarding missing information to get any needed transfer information
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls
  • Develop expertise to provide clients on-going support and assistance
  • Schedule new account appointments on our Sr Account Executives calendars
  • Provide support to our managers, employees, and clients assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, computers, printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word)
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus but not required
  • Enter and manage sensitive client data into trust software to open retirement accounts. i.e. IRA, SEP, 401k, HSA
  • Ability to work well with other team members and understand and take direction to assist the team.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a Client Services role
  • Experience with Retirement Accounts preferred
  • Experience with IRAs, HSAs, ESAs preferred
  • Experience with Self-Directed IRAs is a bonus

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong customer service communication and relationship skills. (active listener, clear, honest, strong verbal and written communicator, and good note taking skills)
  • Must exude highest attention to detail and accountability.
  • Self-starter, ability to take initiative, strong problem-solving skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, exceptional organizational skills, multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to learn and retain industry specific information.
  • Schedule reliability.
  • Experience with IRAs, 401(k)s, or other retirement accounts is very helpful but is not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
