Description: We are looking for a professional with experience in Architectural Doors, Frames and Hardware to assist in managing projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Comsense software for project management and estimating, as well as proficiency in Bluebeam for reviewing plans and collaborating with teams. This role is based in Hicksville, NY.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in coordinating architectural door projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and procurement.
· Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and schedules using Bluebeam.
· Utilize Comsense software to generate estimates, manage bids, and track project progress.
· Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of doors, frames, and hardware.
· Prepare and maintain project documentation, including submittals, change orders, and progress reports.
· Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
· Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and construction teams to address inquiries and resolve issues.
· Support site visits and inspections as needed to monitor installation progress.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in the architectural doors, frames, or hardware industry.
· Proficiency in Comsense software for estimating, detailing, and project management.
· Strong working knowledge of Bluebeam for reviewing and marking up architectural plans.
· Familiarity with architectural door systems, hardware schedules, and construction processes.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or a related field (preferred but not required).
· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites within the NY area as needed.
