Entry Level Administrative Assistant – Schaumburg, IL
$45,000 - $50,000/Annually – Plus full health benefits, vision, dental, PTO, 401(k) match
Our long-standing client has been prominent in the sports world for over three decades. Specializing in winter sports equipment, they promise high-end, quality products that evolve with the times. Sold at retailers across the country, from children’s sleds to professional grade snow boards- if it’s winter sport equipment, they make it.
They are currently seeking an Entry Level Administrative Assistant. In the role, you will be a part of a highly motivated team and will be responsible for ensuring operations run smoothly. To be successful in this position, you will need to be analytical, driven, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Track shipments from multiple points of origin to final destinations; create, maintain, and issue reports and shipping documents
- Examine invoices and other shipment documents to ensure accurate and timely entry into database
- Communicate with various departments to obtain further information for incomplete documents
- Prepare reports and presentations for management, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
- Ensure customer information is up to date; verify and modify when necessary (billing address, delivery destination, contact information, etc.)
- Special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Internship experience or general office experience preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to analyze a set of data and turn it into insights
- Adaptable and able to think critically under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to prioritize
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
