Position Overview
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll, maintaining accurate payroll records, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. You’ll play a key role in reconciling payroll data, responding to employee inquiries, and optimizing payroll processes to support smooth operations.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing through ADP Workforce Now .
- Ensure accurate payroll deductions for benefits, taxes, and retirement contributions.
- Reconcile payroll to general ledger accounts and benefit invoices.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with employment laws.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with clear and timely communication.
- Prepare and distribute payroll-related documents, including W-2s .
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for reporting, data reconciliation, and process optimization.
- Stay up to date on payroll regulations and company policies to ensure compliance.
