We are seeking an Information Technology Manager - Intermediate to work at Fort Huachuca, in Sierra Vista, AZ The role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of computer hardware and software systems, managing IT staff, developing, and implementing technology strategies, and ensuring that the technology infrastructure is up-to-date and functional. This manager must have great communications skills and the ability to form interpersonal relationships throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of computer systems and networks
- Managing and directing IT staff, including hiring and training employees
- Ensuring information security and data protection measures are implemented and maintained
- Collaborating with other departments to assess and prioritize technology needs
- Recommending and implementing new hardware and software solutions
- Developing and enforcing IT policies and procedures
- Troubleshooting and resolving technology-related issues
- Staying up to date with industry advancements and trends to make informed decisions
- Providing technical support and guidance to employees and clients as needed
