We are seeking an Intermediate Network Architect to work at Fort Huachuca, AZ. This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Summary :
The Intermediate Network Architect (Infrastructure) is responsible for ensuring the organization's Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure and related systems are well maintained and operate reliably and securely. This role will perform regular systems and security monitoring, provisioning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. The Intermediate Network Architect will perform administration, operations, maintenance, and support of LAN infrastructure Ethernet switches and related systems. They are also responsible for following relevant processes, procedures, and standards. Additionally, the Intermediate Network Architect will provide technical support related to assigned systems within their organization and to local network enterprise customers as needed. They also handle patches and upgrades to ensure that systems are maximally efficient, effective, and secure.
Required skills :
- Network device configuration fundamentals.
- Network troubleshooting fundamentals.
- LAN / CAN architecture fundamentals.
- IPv4 Subnetting.
- IPv4 addressing and address schema.
- Basic network services such as SSH, DNS, DHCP, NTP, and LDAP.
- Basic LAN services such as VLAN, STP / MST, and trunking.
- Cybersecurity fundamentals.
- IT Industry terminology.
- IT troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Security certification
Desired Skills :
Minimum Education & Experience :
High School Diploma
Minimum of three (3) of years of direct, relevant professional work experience.
Associate's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field from a nationally accredited educational institution.
Minimum of two (2) years of direct, relevant professional work experience. Security certification.
