Dirt Road Dogs is hiring a Full-Time Dog Handler (Lead Counselor) and Part Time Kennel Tech (Junior Counselor) for our awesome dog campers!

Must have reliable transportation to Choctaw OK
Lead Counselor: We are looking to hire a motivated, experienced dog lover to fill a FT position. Hours range from 30-40 hours per week. Pay range from $12-14/hr based on experience and skill level. Dog training, kennel tech or dog handling experience is required for this position. Able to operate and drive a 12-passenger van. Must be comfortable handling and supervising groups of 3-10 dogs at once and facilitate safe play, supervising and delegating tasks for Junior counselors and customer service experience needed. Health insurance available after 90 days working. Must have a divers license in good standing. This position has growth and increased opportunities for the right candidate.
Flexible hours.
Junior Counselor: Looking for a motivated, dog loving person to assist our Lead Counselors with kennel duties such as: cleaning and sanitizing kennels and bunks, refilling food containers, cleaning and sweeping the yard for waste, helping take in incoming dogs and handoff exiting dogs ect. Full list of duties available.
Shift available: 3pm-9pm M-F some weekends / holidays
Applicants should be comfortable around groups of excitable dogs and open to learning about dog behavior and comfortable working outside in the elements.
Anticipated Start date of 2/23/25
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
