Estimator

**Overview:**

We are looking for an Estimator with Dirt work experience!!! This is a hybrid position as site visits are required. We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. We are an earthworks company that performs private and public works. Skills in both of these areas are required. Some of the work that we perform include; playgrounds, ball fields, underground utility work, retention and detention vaults, etc. The ideal candidate will have expertise in project management and construction estimating, with proficiency in tools like and Microsoft office. Dirt work experience is preferred.

**Duties:**

- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate cost estimates

- Collaborate with construction teams to understand project requirements

- Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, and equipment

- Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to create accurate estimates

- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing

- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process

- Provide support in contract negotiations

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field

- Strong knowledge of construction management principles

- Proficiency in software tools like Bluebeam and HeavyBid

- Ability to work on construction sites and interact with project teams

- Excellent negotiation skills

- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze complex project requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
