Job Title: Production Engineer - Special Process Equipment for Blades
Location: Fort Madison, Iowa (USA)
Contract Duration: 24 months (Starting May 2025)
About the Role:
We are seeking production engineer to support the tooling area globally. In this role, you will apply your expertise in industrial equipment and machinery (including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems) to define, validate, and implement production equipment for blade manufacturing in facilities worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:
- Create specifications for the required tools and machinery for blade production, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Monitor the procurement process, ensuring timely commissioning and validation of equipment at the site.
- Handover equipment to the manufacturing plant, providing ongoing support as necessary.
- Oversee the installation of new machinery, ensuring it meets global standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational background: mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineer
- Experience: 5 years in blade manufacturing projects or other heavy industries
- Technical skills: proficient in MS Office, Jira, CAD programs
- Knowledge of CE marking and machinery directives or equivalent US legislation
- Languages: fluent in English
- Location: must be living in the USA and available to provide on-site support in Fort Madison, Iowa
- Work flexibility: work from home up to 2 days per week
- Willingness to travel: up to 30 days per year to plants or suppliers
