Consumer Directed Services in Texas (CDS) seeks an Onboarding Coordinator (Entry Level) to join our New Hire team.

Position Summary: The Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for facilitating the administrative and clerical functions of the New Hire Department. The Onboarding Coordinator will perform such tasks as maintaining personnel records, creating and updating employee demographics, verifying that all employment and program requirements have been met, and processing and completing employee applications. This role acts as a liaison between employers and employees to assist with onboarding.

Tasks

  • Verify receipt of all forms required of new hires under appropriate program rules; ensure all employees’ documents comply with the CDS regulations; notify clients regarding missing or incomplete documentation; and inform clients when all paperwork is complete.
  • Assist in the entire hiring process of employees, including verifying employment requirements and credentials to include I-9 compliance
  • Assist as needed with all background checks and state registries, ensuring that the client is notified and that notification is documented on form 1725, Criminal Conviction History and Registry Checks.
  • Help with new-hire procedures, including organizing employee applications, creating new employee files, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is correctly filled out and submitted to appropriate persons while working closely with other CDS departments.
  • Foster positive employee relations and work to solve any employee issues that surface.
  • Will be responsible for maintaining and managing assigned client caseload
  • Will be responsible for placing and receiving many outbound and inbound calls while helping coordinate with the Employer on any missing forms or corrections needed to complete the New Hire application.
  • Observe confidentiality policies and comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • One to two years of related work experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Must be able to type 35 wpm with 80% accuracy.
  • Must be able to demonstrate competence with computer applications such as MS Word and have the ability to learn agency-specific software readily.
  • Highly organized and efficient; skilled at multi-tasking and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time management skills
  • Positive, empathetic, and personable demeanor
  • Attentive listener with solid communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Willing to take the initiative and work independently with integrity and accountability

Estimated gross salary between $33,280 and $37,440.
