Description : ABOUT THE ROLE
Holcim is recruiting full-time day and night shift Equipment Operator - Dredge Operator at the Thackverville, OK plant-the shift differential for the night shift (6 pm - 6 am).
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Operates dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks, or other types of large equipment used for paving or moving, grading and compacting earth, sand, gravel, stone and / or asphalt materials
- Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
- Practice and promote safety by including but not limited to assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, and utilizing appropriate PPE.
- Exercise and encourage core values including but not limited to; developing self and coaching others by inspiration and empowerment
- Ensures that safety, compliance, and environmental requirements are followed at all times
- Loads material into bins, into crushers, into trucks, or into plant
- Moves earth or other materials from one location to another
- Performs visual and safety inspection of equipment; Maintains appearance of the equipment, proper air pressure in tires, proper fluid levels, and performs minor repairs as needed
- Keeps equipment clean and orderly
- Completes paperwork that may be necessary; assists with other duties required
- Other duties as needed
