Compensation is commensurate upon education & experience - range is $16.50 per hour or more. Benefits begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment from the new hire orientation date. This position is non-exempt and includes shift differentials for qualified shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed nurses with direct patient care, ensuring adherence to CNA II scope of practice.
Perform clerical duties, including scheduling, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
Provide compassionate patient support and communicate effectively with families and healthcare teams.
Respond quickly and accurately to patient needs and emergency situations.
Maintain confidentiality and follow hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Position Requirements
Minimum Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Completion of a course leading to listing with the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NC HCPR) as a CNA I.
Experience
Previous experience as a CNA preferred.
Required Registration / License / Certification
Current CNA II certification in North Carolina.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required at the time of hire.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions.
Proficiency in delivering safe and effective patient care within licensure scope.
Knowledge of hospital protocols, patient care standards, and administrative tasks.
Exceptional customer service, computer skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Physical Demands
Continuous standing and walking for 8 hours per shift.
Speaking, reading, and writing for 8 hours per day.
